Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP)

The Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) is the advocate for small business utilization within USTRANSCOM and the primary source of information to the small business community for assistance. We provide advice and counsel to USTRANSCOM on all Small Business matters, assist buyers with Small Business market research, educate and develop resources for industry, participate in training and outreach opportunities, develop and monitor Small Business goals and achievements, and ensure policy and procedural adherence relational to Small Business regulations

The mission of the OSBP is to assist USTRANSCOM & TCAQ in acquiring the most talented and innovative small businesses in support of the war fighter. Our objective is to increase awards to small business by developing strategies that ensures maximum participation and opportunities for small business concerns. The OSBP is USTRANSCOM's face to industry and the first stop for identifying and Doing Business with USTRANSCOM. We continually strive to increase prime and subcontract opportunities to Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-owned Small Business, Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Business and HUBZone Small Business concerns.

FY15 USTRANSCOM ACQUISITION (TCAQ) Segregated Spend

This report provides USTRANSCOM TCAQ spend data by NAICS and includes the total actions, dollars, percentage of dollars, and percentage of dollars received by Small Business. This report is provided for contractors to identify USTRANSCOM contract spending segments for potentially matching company capabilities.

This report identifies USTRANSCOM Acquisition small business goals and achievements by socioeconomic categories foreign and domestic.

Cybersecurity e-Learning Courses

DoD Defense Security Service online courses related to cybersecurity topics such as risk management and phishing—that is, social engineering that uses authentic-looking, but fake, e-mails to request information from users or direct them to a fake website that requests information.

Cybersecurity for Small Business

U.S. Small Business Administration provides a 30 minute online program that covers cybersecurity concepts for small business.

Small Biz Cyber Planner 2.0

Federal Communications Commission provides guidance based on areas of risk self-identified by small businesses. The guidance includes links to additional cybersecurity resources for small businesses.
