AMC's 140,000 men and women--active duty, Air National Guard, Air Force reserve, and civilians--have been critical to the success of virtually every combat operation, disaster relief, or humanitarian assistance effort in which our great nation has engaged. From providing relief to victims of natural disaster at home and abroad, to supporting ongoing peace operations, to transporting the combat might of our nation, the men and women of AMC's airlift and tanker force epitomize the great spirit of service our Air Force and nation have come to expect. AMC can be counted on...and AMC definitely has made a difference!
I salute your dedication and ask each of you to reflect on your and AMC's achievements over the past year, and to rededicate yourselves to our enduring endeavor of leaving our world better than we found it.
