SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. (USTCNS) -- Maj. Gen. John D. Becker, director, Operations and Logistics, J-3/4, Headquarters United States Transportation Command, Scott AFB, Ill., will become commander, 15th Air Force, AMC, and commander, Tanker Task Force, United States Strategic Command, Travis AFB, Calif. He will replace Lt. Gen. Walter S. Hogle Jr., who was previously announced.

Brig. Gen. James G. Roudebush, command surgeon, HQ AMC, and command surgeon, USTRANSCOM, Scott AFB, Ill., will replace Maj. Gen. Leonard M. Randolph Jr., deputy surgeon general, Headquarters United States Air Force, Bolling AFB, Washington D.C.

Col. Silvanus T. Gilbert III, commander, 436th Airlift Wing, AMC, Dover AFB, Del., will replace Brig. Gen. Mark A. Welsh III, commander, 34th Training Wing, and commandant of cadets, United States Air Force Academy, Colo.

Col. Scott E. Wuesthoff, commander, 92nd Operations Group, Fairchild AFB, Wash., will become commander, 436th Airlift Wing, Dover AFB, Del., effective July. Col. Susan C. Ross, student, National Defense University, Ft. McNair, Washington D.C., will replace him effective August.

Col. Thomas P. Potere, air attachè, Defense Intelligence Agency, Cairo, Egypt, will become director of operations, Tanker Airlift Control Center, HQ AMC, Scott AFB, Ill., effective March 2002.

Col. Stephen C. Daniels, special assistant to the director of operations for Joint Expeditionary Force Experiment, Directorate of Operations, HQ AMC, Scott AFB, Ill., will retire effective September.

Col. Billy K. Osborn, director of staff, 22nd Air Refueling Wing, McConnell AFB, Kan., will retire effective October.

Col. John R. Jeffreys, director of staff, 62nd Airlift Wing, McChord AFB, Wash., will retire effective October.
