SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. (USTCNS) --- Air Mobility Command general and senior officer announcements:
Brig. Gen. James A. Hawkins, a major general-select and, commander, 89th Airlift Wing, Andrews Air Force Base, Md., will replace Maj. Gen. Garry R. Trexler as vice director, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Col. Glenn F. Spears, a brigadier-general select and executive officer to the Chief of Staff, USAF, Pentagon, Washington, D.C., will replace General Hawkins.
Col. Stephen M. Jones, deputy director of operations, HQ AMC, Scott AFB, will retire effective Nov. 1.
Col. Michael J. Billings, deputy director of plans and programs, HQ AMC, Scott AFB, will become vice commander, Nineteenth Air Force, Air Education and Training Command, Randolph AFB Texas, effective August.
Col. Edward A. Gallagher, commandant, Combat Aerial Delivery School, Air Mobility Warfare Center, Little Rock AFB Ark., will become air attaché, Defense Intelligence Agency, Czechoslovakia Republic, effective August.
Col. Jeffrey B. Harrison, currently chief, Special Operations Forces Division, J-3, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Pentagon, will replace Colonel Gallagher effective August. (FROM AIR MOBILITY COMMAND PUBLIC AFFAIRS).
