This year's symposium, "Creating New Traditions," will be held March 25-29 at the Wyndham Anatole Hotel, in Dallas Texas.
Participants may register at the MTMC Web site at www.mtmc.army.mil. Click on "2002 MTMC Training Symposium" and, then, "What's New."
Key speakers this year include senior leaders from U.S. Transportation Command, General Services Administration and the military services.
There will be 10 breakout sessions - each repeated five times. Subjects will include: Personal Property Update, Direct Booking of Ocean Shipments and the Strategic Distribution Management Initiative.
A limited number of government per diem hotel rooms are available at $111.25, plus tax. The lodging rate for non-government/military attendees is $155 single and $169 double, plus tax. A credit card is required to secure a reservation. A symposium registration fee of $200 will be collected on site.
