New operations director assumes duties at USTRANSCOM
SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill., (USTCNS, Nov. 8, 2004) --- Air Force Brig. Gen. Paul J. Selva assumed duties today as Director of Operations for U.S. Transportation Command.
Selva, formerly the Commander of Air Mobility Command’s Tanker Airlift Control Center, replaces Army Maj. Gen. Robert T. Dail who has held the position since August 2003.
In August, the Secretary of Defense announced the nomination of Dail for the appointment to the rank of Lt. Gen. with a future assignment as Deputy Commander, USTRANSCOM.
