SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill., (USTCNS) --- News and information about efforts to streamline the Defense Department’s distribution process is now available through a free subscription.
Since the Secretary of Defense designated U.S. Transportation Command as the DoD’s Distribution Process Owner (DPO) in September of 2003, USTRANSCOM has made great strides, along with other national logistics partners, in pursuing a host of initiatives aimed at making distribution of military commodities a standardized, efficient and reliable process.
The DPO Update is a single page, bi-weekly, e-newsletter for DPO stakeholders. It provides information on the issues and initiatives, challenges and successes, impacting the management of DoD’s end-to-end supply chain.
