Air Force Gen. Randall Reed, commander, U.S. Transportation Command, met with Marine Corps Gen. Michael Langley, commander, U.S. Africa Command, in Stuttgart, Germany, Jan. 23.
During the meeting, they discussed USAFRICOM’s logistics and mobility requirements, regional security challenges, and the importance of agile logistics in maintaining operational reach and effectiveness.
Following the meeting, a roundtable was held with functional directors from both commands. The discussion centered on transportation operations and contingency response.
