Commander, US Transportation Command meets with Deputy Commander, US Space Command

Air Force Gen. Randall Reed, commander, U.S. Transportation Command, met with Army Lt. Gen. Thomas James, deputy commander, U.S. Space Command, at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, Feb. 6.
The military leaders discussed support to human space flight operations, support to NASA, and other joint force concepts relevant to both commands.
Following the meeting, the generals and other senior leaders from the two commands participated in a roundtable, which focused on space-related topics, the U.S.’ role as a world leader in space, and the domain’s ever-increasing importance to national security.
