AFROTC Det. 790 cadets visit USTRANSCOM
Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets from Detachment 790, Tennessee State University, Nashville, Tenn., listen to remarks on leadership from Gen. Darren W. McDew (left), U.S. Transportation Command commander, March 1, 2018, at USTRANSCOM, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The cadets visited Air Mobility Command and USTRANSCOM to learn about the organizations’ missions. USTRANSCOM is a global Combatant Command and the transportation provider for the Department of Defense. With its global view, USTRANSCOM sets the globe for logistics on behalf of the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and integrates and employs mobility forces to rapidly project combat power at the time and place of our country's choosing.
