The president has nominated to the Senate that Hopper also be appointed to the grade of lieutenant general with the assignment.
* Maj. Gen. George N. Williams, currently director of operations, HQ AMC, Scott AFB, Ill., will replace Hopper.
* Maj. Gen. Roger A. Brady, currently director of logistics, HQ AMC, will replace Williams.
