Air Mobility Command general officers moving later this year

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. (USTCNS) --- Four general officers will be moving to new position with Air Mobility Command later this year the command announced May 9.

* Maj. Gen. John D. Hopper Jr., currently commander, Twenty-First Air Force, McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., will become vice commander, Air Education and Training Command, Randolph AFB, Texas. The president has nominated to the Senate that Hopper also be appointed to the grade of lieutenant general with the assignment.

* Maj. Gen. George N. Williams, currently director of operations, HQ AMC, Scott AFB, Ill., will replace Hopper.

* Maj. Gen. Roger A. Brady, currently director of logistics, HQ AMC, will replace Williams.

* Brig. Gen. Peter J. Hennessey, currently vice commander, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., will replace Brady. (FROM AIR MOBILITY COMMAND PUBLIC AFFAIRS).
