ALEXANDRIA, Va. (USTCNS) --- Strategic transportation issues will be highlighted in the Military Traffic Management Command's annual European workshop.

"Strategic lift by air, sea and prepositioned ship is at the top of our agenda," said Col. John Brown, commander, 598th Transportation Group. "Another item of interest is the new Strategic Distribution Management Initiative under joint development by MTMC and the Defense Logistics Agency."

Other issues include passenger and personal property and Joint Logistics Over the Shore training. The workshop will consist of open sessions, working groups and transportation-related training.

The annual European Command-MTMC Traffic Management, Mobility and Training Workshop will be held Nov. 12-16 at the Allgau Stern Hotel, in Sonthofen, Germany.
