USTRANSCOM announces civilian and military top performers of 2001

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. (USTCNS) --- A senior U.S. Transportation Command leader announced the top civilian and military performers for the command in 2001 in a ceremony here Jan. 17.

Army Maj. Gen. Butch Pair, USTRANSCOM chief of staff, announced the winners at a ceremony in the Seay Auditorium.

Three civilian employee winners received recognition for outstanding service based on their grade level.

· Lee Mozie, Shiloh, is an air operations specialist, Joint Operational Support Airlift Center.

· James Sullivan, St. Louis, is a senior counterintelligence and counter-terrorism analyst.

· Patrick Davis, Belleville, is a budget analyst.

Awards were given for four categories of military personnel, junior service member, service member, senior non-commissioned officer, and company grade officer (2nd Lt. through Capt.).

· Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Brian Watson, Smithfield, N.J., is an intelligence systems analyst.

· Marine Corps Sgt. James Hettinger, Decatur, Ill., is the noncommissioned officer in charge of the Marine personnel branch.

· Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Scott Giordano, Mason City, Iowa, is superintendent, Global Patient Movement Requirements Center.

· Air Force 1st Lt. Jocelyn Jackson, East St. Louis, Ill., is an intelligence systems project manager.
