USTRANSCOM sponsors blood drive

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. – The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center brought one of its mobile collection units to U.S. Transportation Command, June 28, for a command-sponsored blood drive. 

Civilian and military workers from USTRANSCOM and Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command donated blood throughout the day.

Technicians from the center, which supplies blood to all St. Clair County hospitals, took the donations. 

Donors received T-shirts and a pair of Gateway Grizzlies baseball tickets.
