SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. – Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force James A. Roy visited U.S. Transportation Command July 31, during a stop at Scott Air Force Base, Ill.
Roy, the 16th chief master sergeant appointed to the Air Force's highest noncommissioned officer position, serves as the personal adviser to the Air Force Chief of Staff and the Secretary of the Air Force on all issues regarding the welfare, readiness, morale, and proper utilization and progress of the Air Force enlisted force.
