USTRANSCOM leaders sign resolution

U.S. Transportation Command delivers an extraordinary ability—unique to the United States—to rapidly project national power and influence, anywhere, anytime.

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. – U.S. Transportation Command delivers an extraordinary ability—unique to the United States—to rapidly project national power and influence, anywhere, anytime.

In order to preserve this capability for the future, the command group and directors recently met in a series of four strategic seminars that built on the foundational work established in the command’s strategic plan, “Our Story.”

The seminars helped the leadership team clearly discern USTRANSCOM’s future operating environment, decide how USTRANSCOM should overcome future challenges, and commit to act on the decisions resulting from their discussions.

Gen. William M. Fraser III, commander, USTRANSCOM, hosted the seminars.  Bruce Busler, director, USTRANSCOM’s Joint Distribution Process Analysis Center, facilitated the seminar series.

At the conclusion of the seminar series, USTRANSCOM’s leadership team achieved a shared understanding about the challenges of the future, agreed on USTRANSCOM’s core missions and responsibilities, and developed concepts for internal realignment that will achieve efficiencies and ensure continued success in the future.
