Training

Welcome to the Defense Courier Division training page! Upon in-processing with your base and station, your training manager will set you up for a rigorous 4-month training program. You will be required to obtain logins for the following web sites:

Your station training manager will assist you with obtaining your logins and provide all training requirements for your Defense Courier assignment. Training will consist of web based and hands-on training with the station training team. Training will cover Security Requirements, Safety Requirements, Courier Movement System, Material Acceptance, Station Requirements, Material Delivery, Special Handling, and Emergency Management.

For inbound Station Chiefs, after in-processing with your base and station, you will be scheduled to attend a 3-day orientation course at Scott AFB. This course will consist of leadership briefings with Manpower and Personnel (TCJ1), Intelligence (TCJ2), Force Protection (TCJ3), Financial Manager (TCJ8), Legal Affairs, as well as sessions with Defense Courier Division personnel. All travel and scheduling requirements will be coordinated prior to the course with the division training manager.
