Passenger Movement

Air Mobility Command Channel Passenger Service

AMC passenger channel service is a common-user airlift service provided to DOD activities worldwide (CONUS and OCONUS theaters, between OCONUS theaters, and within OCONUS theaters) on a scheduled basis between two points and charged on a one-way per passenger basis.

AMC channels are established, suspended, changed, or canceled based on the requirements and upon the request of the military departments and/or theater unified COCOMs. Although any changes to channel requirements may originate from various sources, a Service HQ or theater-unified COCOM must validate and USTRANSCOM must approve the requirement.

Groups Operational Passenger System (GOPAX)

GOPAX is a web-based system supporting the request and procurement of full-charter transportation of military personnel traveling in groups. This process for commercial movement of group duty passengers varies with the type of movement required. Coordination of air movement can be accomplished through GOPAX for domestic (CONUS only) air movements and is also used for domestic surface movements.

GOPAX Flight/Ground Transportation: GOPAX Flight/Ground Transportation requester would go through their Transportation Management Office (TMO) or Installation Transportation Office (ITO).
